In Jaimini astrology, the planet of profession: the one with the second-highest degree in its sign.
Of the seven planets from the Sun to Saturn, the one furthest into its sign is the Atmakaraka (the soul), and the next is the Amatyakaraka, the minister. It shows the kind of work and advice through which a person rises.
