Antardasha
A smaller chapter inside a mahadasha, ruled by another planet, lasting months to a few years.
Each mahadasha is split into nine antardashas. The mahadasha sets the overall theme; the antardasha decides what is in focus right now.
Astrologers write them together, like 'Saturn · Mercury': Saturn mahadasha, Mercury antardasha.

महादशा के अंदर एक छोटा अध्याय, किसी दूसरे ग्रह का, जो कुछ महीनों से कुछ सालों तक चलता है।
हर महादशा नौ अंतर्दशाओं में बँटी होती है। महादशा पूरा विषय तय करती है; अंतर्दशा बताती है कि अभी किस बात पर ज़ोर है।
ज्योतिषी इन्हें साथ लिखते हैं, जैसे 'शनि · बुध': शनि की महादशा में बुध की अंतर्दशा।
