Privacy Policy

• Your account: your mobile number if you log in with your phone, or your name, email address and profile photo from Google or Apple if you sign in with them.
• Birth details: name, gender, date, time and place of birth for you and for anyone you add (for example a partner, for kundli matching). We need these to calculate charts.
• Chats: the questions you ask our AI astrologers and their answers, so you can read them again and the astrologer remembers the conversation.
• Wallet and purchases: top-ups, chat minutes used and reports bought. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment provider; we never see or store them.
• Settings: your language and notification choices.

No contacts, photos, precise location, advertising IDs or third-party tracking. The free kundli, matching, panchang and muhurat tools on the website work without an account and don't save what you type.

• To calculate kundlis, matching, panchang and muhurat.
• To answer your questions in chat and to write reports you buy.
• To run your wallet, bill chat minutes and keep records of payments.
• To send reminders you turned on, such as your daily horoscope.
• To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We use a few providers to run Guruji Knows. Each gets only what it needs:

• Anthropic (Claude): writes the astrologers' answers and reports. It receives your chart and the conversation, not your phone number or email, and does not use them to train its models.
• Vercel and Neon: host the app's servers and database.
• Cashfree Payments: processes payments.
• Google Firebase: sends login codes by SMS and confirms your phone number.
• Google and Apple: sign-in, if you choose them.

Some of these providers store data outside India, including in the United States. We would share data with authorities only when Indian law requires it.

We keep your account, profiles and chats until you delete them or your account. Payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually eight years, even after you delete your account.

• See and edit your birth details and profiles in the app at any time.
• Delete any saved profile from the app.
• Delete your whole account in the app under Settings → Delete account. This removes your profiles, chats and wallet straight away.
• If you can't use the app, email saifmd518.ms@gmail.com from your account's email (or tell us your registered phone number) and we'll delete your account within 7 days.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can also ask us what data we hold about you, correct it, or raise a grievance at the same address. We reply within 30 days.

Guruji Knows is not meant for children under 13. Payments need someone aged 18 or over.

Data is encrypted in transit, and your login is stored in your phone's secure storage (Keychain or Keystore). No system is perfectly secure, but we limit who and what can access your data.

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before it applies.
