Gochar (Transit)
Where the planets are moving in the sky today, read against your birth chart.
Your kundli is fixed at birth, but the planets keep moving. Gochar compares where they are now with your Moon sign (rashi): each planet gives good results in some houses from it and testing ones in others.
The slow planets matter most: Saturn stays in a sign about 2½ years, Rahu and Ketu about 1½ years and Jupiter about a year. The Moon changes sign every 2½ days, so its effect is only for a day or two.
For example
Saturn passing through the 12th, 1st and 2nd houses from your Moon is Sade Sati.
