Krishna Janmashtami 2027 Nishita puja in Rajkot

Krishna Janmashtami is observed on the day its tithi is running at Nishita Kaal, the night's middle muhurta around local midnight at your location. Because sunrise and sunset differ from place to place, the date and time can differ between cities, and sometimes from a printed calendar made for another city.

Every muhurat is counted from your own city's sunrise and sunset, and the tithi changes at the same instant everywhere but at a different clock time in each time zone. That is why each city in India and Canada has its own date and time.
