Retrograde (Vakri)
A planet that looks like it is moving backwards from Earth. Its results often come later or after a second try.
Planets do not really go backwards; from Earth they appear to, for a while. Astrology reads a retrograde planet as turned inward: its themes are revisited, delayed or worked on in an unusual way.
Rahu and Ketu always move this way, so they are not marked.
